“Blog me! Shop - Event Version” is a tool to manage your events from the beginning to the end, working with Bloggers, with Event/Blogger Managers and with the shop owners as well
This is a fully operational tool that links Second Life™ with an external platform, accessible via your in-world name and a password that can be retrieved from the Virtualty Office (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Falcata/70/154/26)
Basic elements
The tool is made of three elements:
Blog Me! Shop - Event Owner- The interface to create new events and add bloggers if you have a list and not a groupBlog Me! BloggerBox- The box that your bloggers will have to use to propose their own items in your eventBlog Me! Event Configurator- A quick tool to configure all the BloggerBoxes in a 10 meters radius to a specific event
Plus of course the Management website, that can be reached at
https://blogme.virtualty.space/manager/usersc/login.php
The access credentials can be obtained at Virtualty Office
First Use
If this is the very first time that you are using this tool, I can imagine it will be a little confusing, at the beginning.
Just rez the Blog Me! Shop - Event Owner and click on it. If you still have not an event created with Blog Me! the system will ask you to define the name of your event.
Please be VERY careful, the name cannot be changed after!
Once you have created your own very first event, you can go into the Web App by logging in in
https://blogme.virtualty.space/manager/usersc/login.php
using your credentials
Web Interface
The first page you will see when you will log in is the Landing page.
It will look different according to the different roles you have, and if you are also managing shops
In this specific case, you can see that this user has access not only to Events as an owner and a manager, but also manages shops and is a blogger as well
The three areas
The page is divided in three parts:
Shop- The area reserved for the shop owners and managersEvent- The area reserved for the event owners and managersBlog- The area reserved for the bloggers
As you can see, this interface is made so to make is as simpler and intuitive as possible where to go to get to the desired portion of the Portal
If you do not see some of the elements of the landing page, do not be afraid!
It probably means that you are not in some of the categories.
