The Spot On! is a tool to register for events in Second Life.
The pictures used in this manual were taken using different versions for different events, but the concept is valid for all the other terminals of the line Spot On! Everywhere.

The moment you rez the Terminal, it will do a quick initialization, taking from the database all the information needed for the event and it will ask your permission to manage your L$.
This is of course mandatory and needed to fay the fee for the event, so please accept it!


If you forget to grant access to the Linden account, the first time you will click on the terminal you will have a message like this one:

If this happens, please reset the script and give permission to access your linden account.

The Menu will always tell you what is the version of your Terminal, and in case of issues this will have to be communicated for debugging and problem solving.
Following some of your comments, I decided to limit as much as possible the presence of major versions (the first two numbers) that will require a complete new terminal in a mandatory way, and have minor versions (the last 4 numbers) for minor changes that will not impact on the full functionality.
This means that even if there are Terminal with a different incremental number, this will not impact the functionality of the software.

Once you have rezzed and allowed access to your Linfen account, just click on the terminal. A dialog will show up:

The dialog window will first and foremost tell you if you can or cannot register, and in case you cannot, it will tell you when the box will open to registration

The dialog will also tell you the number of items that will have to be put inside the Terminal, and, when you will start filling the terminal, it will also update the menu with the number and type of items you have inserted

Please note that there is a 60 seconds timeout for the dialog.
In case, you will receive a message in the public chat:

You will of course have to click again on the Terminal to have a working dialog pop up. Whatever you will do on the existing dialog will NOT have any effect.

You want to register to the event, you have prepared your pics and you have filled in the notecard that you have found in your Merchant Box, you just need to drag-n-drop the notecard and the pics inside the Terminal

Select your items, and, while keeping the ctrl button pressed, drag the desider files into the terminal (that will be highlighted in red)

You can, if you want, go in Edit mode on the Terminal and see what is inside just to be sure

Or simply click on the terminal, that will tell you what you have put inside, but mostly if it is enough to register, or if there is not the correct number of items

In the above example, the number of items is correct, 2 out of a max of 2 pics and 1 notecard.

All the elements you put in the Terminal have to be full perm
In case something is not full perm, you will get an error message:

You will hence have to find and cancel the items with the wrong permission before being able to continue

In the examples below, clearly there is a notecard missing, or a few too many images for the registration!

You have then to fill in the Shop Name and insert the SL url of your shop, that will be used in the hud.
Simply click on the “Shop Name” button to open the dialog, and insert your shop name.

Once you have clicked on submit, your shop name will show up in the dialog:

Do the same for the SLurl.

The system is smart enough to recognize if you have inserted a real slurl or not:

And if you have inserted a wrong data, you will receive a message from VirtualtyPostmaster informing you of the error

Once you have inserted both the Shop name and the SLUrl, the system will show them both

But, unless there is the correct number of images and notecards, you will not be able to click the send button:

Once all the numbers are correct and you have inserted the Shop name and the SLUrl, the “Send” button will appear, and you will be able to register for the round.
A message in the public chat will inform you that you managed to register, and what is your position in this round list:

Once you have registered, the system will automatically cancel the old data you put inside the Terminal but will remember the shop name and the SLUrl, so, unless you will have to reset the box for some reason, next time you will register you will not have to insert again that data, but just drag-n-drop notecard and images.

Well, you can do it yourself!
You will just have to fill in again the Terminal with your new pic(s) and notecard, and your position will be updated:

PLEASE NOTE: everything will be replaced, all the images with the new one, so, if for whatever reason you want to change only one image, you will have to submit again all the ones you want to offer for this round!
